About Somerset Home Physio
Somerset Home Physio is a mobile physiotherapy service run by Jodie Walton, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience. Jodie provides personalised physiotherapy treatments in the comfort of your home across Somerset and surrounding areas.
All treatment is carried out personally by Jodie Walton. Jodie holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, an MSc in Healthcare Leadership, and specialist training in Acupuncture and Orthopaedic Medicine. She is HCPC registered and a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Booking & referrals
No. You can book directly with Somerset Home Physio — no GP referral is needed. If you are under a doctor's care, Jodie is happy to work alongside your GP or consultant to ensure a coordinated approach to your treatment.
You can book by calling 07788 713056 or emailing somersethomephysio@gmail.com. Jodie will arrange a free telephone triage before your first appointment to discuss your needs.
Before your initial appointment, Jodie will conduct a free telephone triage call. This ensures she is fully aware of your condition, can set realistic expectations, and can identify the best method of support before commencing treatment.

The initial home assessment is 90 minutes, allowing time for a thorough evaluation and treatment planning. Follow-up physiotherapy sessions are 60 minutes. Acupuncture follow-up sessions are 45 minutes. Session times are approximate and may vary slightly.
Just a comfortable, reasonably clear space with enough room to move. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows access to the area being treated. Jodie brings all necessary equipment — you don't need to provide anything.
Yes. Jodie offers acupuncture as part of her holistic approach to pain relief and wellness, using fine needles to alleviate pain and promote overall well-being. The initial acupuncture assessment includes a test needle to ensure there are no adverse reactions. See the Prices page for session costs.
Areas & travel
Jodie visits clients across Somerset, including Glastonbury, Taunton, Yeovil, Wells, Bridgwater, Shepton Mallet, Street, and surrounding towns and villages. If you're unsure whether your location is covered, please call or email.
Travel is free within a 5-mile radius of Glastonbury. Beyond that, a charge of 65p per additional mile applies. Any travel charges will always be communicated clearly before your appointment.
Pricing & payment
Full pricing is available on the Prices page. As a guide: the initial 90-minute home assessment is £115, and 60-minute follow-up sessions are £75. Acupuncture is £75 for an initial assessment and £60 for follow-ups.
Payment is accepted by cash or card and is due at the time of the appointment. There are no hidden fees or admin charges.
Professional registration
Yes. Jodie Walton is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). This ensures the highest professional and ethical standards in every session.
